Today’s photo of the day comes from the recent unsuccessful military coup in Turkey. We are not sure if this photo shows an example of extreme bravery or extreme foolishness. Perhaps a mix of both. Regardless, it’s a nice shot of a Turkish army Leopard I tank.

I’m pretty sure it shows extreme foolishness because the driver can’t see sh*t for the last few feet in front of his tank. In any event, he is supposed to take his orders from the TC who also can’t see all that well directly in front of the tracks!
Too bad the coup failed; Erdowan had to go. On the other hand, the country might have descended into a death spiral, a la Syria.
