Photo of the Day: Ruptured Gun Tube

Here is a rather striking picture of a ruptured 125 mm gun.  This photo recently appeared in a thread on the tank-net.com forum.  No details were provided as to the exact cause of this rather dramatic gun barrel failure.

    Was this mud in the gun barrel or just poor metallurgy?
